WHY OUR SYSTEM?

While most carpet cleaners—over 90%—still use outdated steam cleaning (a method that’s been around for 40+ years), we use a modern low-moisture technology that’s faster, more efficient, and delivers better results for customers.

Traditional steam cleaning soaks carpets, which means long drying times (sometimes a full day or more), higher chances of stains coming back, and even mold or mildew issues. It also leads to carpets getting dirty again sooner.

Traditional steam cleaning systems can be expensive to buy and maintain. It’s big, noisy, and can freeze up in cold weather. Then there are fuel costs and strict rules around wastewater disposal—things that make running the business harder and more expensive than it needs to be.

We have come a long way in 40 years. With our system, the carpets will be dry in about 30 minutes; stains will not come back, and carpets will repel dirt after cleaning, keeping them clean much longer.  Our equipment is affordable, lightweight, quiet, and easy to use. It requires virtually no maintenance, won’t freeze in cold weather, and is compact enough to transport and store without any hassle.  There is no gas to buy for the equipment (you use the customers electricity), and there is no water to dump.

In a large national survey asking customers who had their carpets cleaned, what their biggest complaint was, the overwhelming number one answer was that the carpets were too wet and took way too long to dry.  The second biggest complaint was that most of the stains came back after the carpet dried.

Using the newest cleaning technology also has eliminated the problem of long dry times after the carpet has been cleaned.  With our system carpets are dry in 30 minutes or so and can be walked on immediately.  The equipment is easy to use and maintain.  Because the equipment is so quiet to operate with no hoses running through the building, coupled with the fact that the carpets dry so quickly and can be walked on even during cleaning, means cleaning of commercial carpets can be done while the business is still open.  This is obviously a huge benefit for them as well as a home owner.  You can clean a home in the morning and they can entertain that afternoon.

On average, homes of this size contain about 900 square feet of carpeting. Based on industry standards, professional carpet cleaners typically charge $0.35 per square foot for cleaning services and an additional $0.15 per square foot for carpet protection, bringing the total service cost to $0.50 per square foot. While some professionals charge higher rates, this calculation remains conservative.

Estimated Revenue:

900 sq. ft. × $0.50 = $450.00

Time and Material Costs:

Cleaning a home of this size generally requires between 1.5 to 2 hours of labor. The cost of cleaning solutions and materials is approximately $0.05 per square foot, totaling $45.00 for the job.

Projected Profit:

$450.00 (Total Revenue) - $45.00 (Material Cost) = $405.00

This results in an hourly earnings potential of approximately $202.50 per hour for a two-hour job. Even if the job took four hours, earnings would still equate to $105.75 per hour.

For context, completing just three similar jobs per week would generate $1,215 for roughly 6 to 8 hours of work. Most full-time carpet cleaners complete at least one job per day, leading to significantly higher earnings.

Using the same carpet cleaning example above, adding a couch, loveseat, and chair would increase total earnings to $630.00 for approximately three hours of work.

CARPET CLEANING PROCESS

This process is very easy to learn and perform. It will typcially be done in 3 - 4 steps:

1. Vacuum the carpet
2. Apply the encap solution with the electric sprayer
3. Use the CRB machine to scrub and clean the carpet.
4. Rinse & extract the carpet with the Pegasus (if necessary)
5. Apply the carpet protector (if customer purchased)
6. Groom the carpet with the CRB.
