SmaK Products / U.S. Products (USP) – Limited Warranty Policy

Effective Date: January 1, 2022

SmaK Products and U.S. Products (USP) are committed to producing high-quality equipment. This warranty policy is designed to assure customers, distributors, and service centers that SmaK/USP stands behind the dependability and serviceability of its equipment.

Warranty Requirements

Proof of purchase and serial numbers are required for all warranty consideration.

This limited warranty begins on the date of the customer’s purchase and applies to the original purchaser only.

10-Year Limited Housing Warranty

SmaK/USP warrants that all rotationally molded housing and tanks will be free from manufacturing defects, workmanship defects, and material defects for a period of ten (10) years from the date of original purchase.

This warranty applies to the original purchaser only and is void if there is evidence of improper use, alteration, abuse, or neglect.

Replacement cost does not include shipping or labor.

2-Year Major Components Limited Warranty

SmaK/USP warrants that pumps, heaters, and vacuum motors are covered under a two (2) year limited warranty from the date of original purchase.

This warranty is void if there is evidence of worn motor brushes, water damage, freezing, chemical build-up, chemical damage, abuse, neglect, or tampering.

This warranty covers the replacement part, shipping of the new part, and labor.

Major Components Shipping & Return Policy

Replacement parts are shipped via normal ground delivery prior to return of defective parts and charged at normal cost to the Distributor.

Any expedited or air shipping charges are the responsibility of the Distributor.

SmaK/USP will issue credit for replacement parts if defective components are returned within thirty (30) days and are determined to be covered under warranty.

This warranty does not cover the cost of shipping damaged parts back to SmaK/USP for evaluation.

If a component is replaced, the replacement component carries a ninety (90) day limited warranty.

90-Day Wear Parts Limited Warranty

SmaK/USP will replace wear parts for a period of ninety (90) days from the date of original purchase of new equipment.

Wear parts are defined as parts that wear out due to usage or the passage of time, even when properly maintained.

Examples of wear parts include, but are not limited to: gaskets, wheels, brass components, cords, wires, electrical terminals, hoses, switches, thermostats, plastisol parts, filters, bearings, brushes, solenoids, O-rings, bulbs, heating elements, castors, and other items determined to be wear parts at the sole discretion of SmaK/USP.

This warranty covers the replacement part, labor, and shipping.

SmaK Products / U.S. Products Tools Warranty

The following tool warranties apply to the original purchaser only.

Sharp Shooter Wands carry a five (5) year limited warranty on the roto-molded head. All other parts are covered under a ninety (90) day wear parts limited warranty.

Value Wands carry a two (2) year limited warranty on the roto-molded head. All other parts are covered under a ninety (90) day wear parts limited warranty.

The Revolver Hard Surface Tool (HST) carries a five (5) year limited warranty on the roto-molded head, a one (1) year limited warranty on the rotary union, and a ninety (90) day wear parts limited warranty.

The UPH Upholstery Tool carries a five (5) year limited warranty on the roto-molded body and a ninety (90) day wear parts limited warranty.
