Austrian CRB Brush Sets are premium replacement brushes for professional Counter Rotating Brush (CRB) machines. Each set includes a matched pair of brushes designed to fit genuine Austrian TM3, TM4, TM5, Pro 35, and Pro 45 machines. With multiple stiffness levels to choose from, you can match the brush exactly to the carpet type, soil level, and job requirements for consistent, high-quality results.
The right brushes are critical to performance. Soft brushes protect delicate fibers and fine rugs, while standard and stiff brushes deliver the aggressive agitation needed for commercial carpet or restoration work. Our color-coded system makes selection simple, so your team can grab the right set quickly and clean with confidence.
Brush Types and Recommended Use
- White (Extra Soft) – For very delicate carpets and area rugs. Ideal for fine fibers, high-end Saxony, and sensitive textiles where gentle agitation is required.
- Grey (Soft) – For wool and soft residential carpet. Great for wool Berber, plush cut pile, and any situation where you want effective cleaning with a softer touch.
- Blue (Standard) – The everyday brush for most residential and light commercial carpet. Use on typical cut pile, cut loop, and level loop carpets with normal soil levels.
- Brown (Stiff) – For heavy soil and commercial-grade carpet. Ideal for restaurants, offices, and high-traffic facilities where you need stronger agitation. Requires proper break-in before use.
- Black (Extra Stiff – Hard Surfaces Only) – For tile, concrete, and hard surfaces with a Pro-series machine. Not for use on carpet, as it will damage fibers.

This machine is what every carpet cleaner should have in their toolbox. This is the best investment I have ever made, and I highly recommend it to fellow Carpet Cleaners.
I used this for the first time in a cottage bedroom, due to logistics and customer wanting immediate access to the room post clean. Vacuumed, pre sprayed and then scattered down the Dry Carpet Cleaning product. Thorough agitation using my CRB, followed by a clear up of the rest of my equipment back into the van, while the product worked its magic. Renovator trays on and collected up the dry compound, followed by a final vacuum and pile brush. Customer was delighted with the results "it looks like new". Happy customer, happy cleaner!
