Warranty Information
Dear Customers:
We at Smart Cleaning Solutions, feel it extremely important for not only
the consumer to understand his/her rights and responsibilities after your
purchase, but to also understand our
obligations and responsibilities to you as a retailer. We encourage you to
check all companies policies before making purchases to reduce possible
misunderstandings after your purchase.
Please note that under our
"Return Policies" we do not use the term "Restocking
fee". All equipment is sold new and unused, not
including original test for proper operation. We never repackage/resell equipment, unless the buyer is
aware and agreed to a price reduction in their favor. All
equipment is sold normally within 30 - 90 days of original manufacture
date.
- The factory warrants to the
original purchaser that
this product, excluding accessories, shall be free from defects
in manufacturing and material, under
normal and reasonable use for a period of one year from date of
purchase. This warranty does not apply to damage due directly or
indirectly to misuse, abuse, negligence, accidentals, repairs or alterations outside
our facilities, lack of maintenance, or used not in accordance
in the owners manual. The sole and exclusive remedy under this warranty is
repair or
replacement, at the Manufacturer's option,
of any product
that proves to be defective in manufacture or materials within
above stated period. This warranty is not transferable.
- For this warranty to apply, the owner and/or user must follow
the instructions provided herein, with the product. The proof
of purchase (copy of invoice) must be submitted with return of
the product. The product returned to the manufacturer/Vapor
Clean Products Inc. is to be
shipped prepaid (see exceptions) in a protective carton. The manufacturer advises
the purchaser to insure the shipment against possible loss or
damage in transit. The manufacturer/Vapor Clean Products Inc. will not be responsible for
items lost or damaged in transit.
Purchaser must contact Smart Cleaning Solutions, prior to shipping product for repair to receive
proper instructions and authorization.
- This Warranty is Void if: Product is damaged resulting from
accident, misuse, excessive use, neglect, improper operating,
use of improper electrical source or unauthorized repair or
alteration.
- This Warranty is void if
residential/home equipment is used in commercial use.
- This Warranty is Void if:
Product has been operated with substances other than city water,
non softened water*, bottled or distilled water. Any substance
introduced into the boiler other than acceptable stated waters
will void warranty.
- The manufacturer or it's representatives is not liable for any consequential or incidental
damages (including personal injury, property damage or monetary
loss) that may be incurred from purchase, use, or inability/improper
use of the product. Maximum liability shall not exceed the purchase
price of the product paid by the original purchaser.
- Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental
or consequential damages.
- Lifetime boiler warranty, part
only, applies
on purchases made after 10/01/05. Prior to this date of 10/01/05
a 5 year boiler warranty, part only, applies
- *Water Softening Systems contain
high levels of salt -- Use of softened water will void warranty

Free Shipping/Delivery
Some items listed on www.smart-cleaning-solutions.com are offered with free
shipping. This only applies to items shipped to addresses within the
Continental United States. Any consumer purchasing outside the Continental
US (Hawaii, Puerto Rico, Canada etc.) waives Free Shipping. All
shipping charges normally paid by Smart Cleaning Soltuions, for possible
warranty repairs shall be waived.
Damage in Shipping
Products arriving with damage in shipping, must be reported to the
shipper, Smart Cleaning Solutions within 3 days of receipt to file
appropriate, timely claims with the transporter.
Product Returns
If for whatever reason you are not satisfied with your purchase you may
return your product within 30 days of purchase date* see exceptions.
Please call
269-441-8631 and speak with Customer Service before deciding to return or
exchange your purchase.
If your product is defective within 30 days of
purchase, we will pay all ground shipping costs to replace or repair
your product when product is assessed and determined defective.
If you change your mind and wish to return your purchase, we will be happy to accept your return.
We will credit your purchase, less shipping and handling - orders that receive "free shipping" only
applies if you keep the
product. All returns will carry a recovery fee of
15% for expenses incurred by retailer. All returns must be in
like new condition, in original packaging, with instructions, paperwork and
accessories. Product or accessories returned in less than reasonable new condition may be assessed and subject to additional
charges. The retailer reserves the right to refuse
damaged or heavily used equipment with documentation.
*Certain products are not returnable, including
filtration or extraction systems due to the inability to
confirm the environment to which the product was used. We ensure
new, direct from factory, sanitary products only. This includes the Gaia and Desiderio's. Please contact
customer service if you have any questions prior to the purchase of
these products to ensure the proper purchasing decision.
No consideration of refund
can be accepted regardless of circumstance after 30 days of purchase. Repair or replacement according the
Manufacturers Warranty is the sole remedy.
Any item delivered via trucking can not be refused or returned for credit
once in transit. If a trucking delivery is refused, charges will be
incurred by the purchaser. These charges may include, but are not limited to, delivery and
return transit costs and storage fees. Orders cancelled after processing
will be subject to a 5% fee to recover credit card fees charged to Smart Cleaning Solutions if the product has not shipped. If the product has
shipped it will be treated as a return item and standard policies apply.
Return Notes
All returns must be pre-approved by applying for an RMA number (Return
Merchandise Authorization). Any products returned without a valid RMA will be
refused and returned to shipper. RMA is valid 15 days from receipt for the
purchaser to return their product.
Consumer must contact us for proper
instructions for return. The manufacturer/retailer advises the purchaser
to insure the shipment against possible loss or damage in transit. The
manufacturer will not be responsible for items lost or damaged in
transit.

to request a Return Authorization Number and we will contact you with this number.
Once we have received your package we will inspect the
contents. Providing the product is in "like new" condition
we will refund the appropriate amount to the credit card used for your original purchase
or make the proper assessments to ensure proper credit.
All debts incurred by services rendered by implied
contract or product
purchases by agreement to the terms and policies put forth by Smart Cleaning Solutions, at the directors discretion may be turned over to a third
party agency for collection. Additional fees may be incurred.
