Hi! My name is Jim England and my son Joe and I
own a company called CLEANTECH Carpet, Upholstery and Floor Cleaning. We are
nationally certified in carpet and upholstery cleaning. Initially steam
cleaning was the big thing and we got into it big time buying the biggest,
steam cleaning machine we could find and outfitting it with all the bells and
whistles. We bought a heavy duty extended van that carried 100 gallons of
water with a water softener, 100 gallon recovery tank, built in water heating
system, electric hose reels, fans, etc. We had about $70,000 wrapped up in
that equipment. We also had several portable steam cleaning machines.
We were
doing great but, we were always looking for a better and easier way to clean.
