Cold pressure washers are best used to clean dirt with or without small amounts of oil and grease. Hot pressure washers are best if significant amounts of oil or grease are present or if some heat reactive substance is being cleaned.

Power requirements (voltage and amperage) are determined by motor size. The highest rating that can be operated on normal 110-120 volt electrical circuits is 2 GPM/1400 PSI which uses a 2 HP motor.

An SCS heater module can be used with any SCS cold high-pressure washer. The outlet of the pressure washer is connected to the inlet of the heater. The pressure washer hose and gun is connected to the outlet of the heater. The heater starts and stops automatically with the trigger gun activation to heat the water to final temperatures ranging from 160º F to 300º F.

All SCS cold water washers are standard equipped with chemical downstream injectors which allow the chemical to be applied with a soft low pressure spray and removed with high pressure clear water. All SCS hot washers/steam cleaners are standard equipped with upstream injection which allows the chemical to be applied with high-pressure washer.
